Houryoku Sencha Fukamushi

NEW 2021.  Air-freighted from the Makinohara region of Shizuoka. Houryoko means "Sprouting Green".  It is steamed slightly longer than the Kunpu Sencha. It brews an emerald color and is full of flavor. Recommend brewing small quantities and multiple infusions. Limited quantity. 1oz (28g)

Ingredients: Japan green tea

Brewing Instructions:

BEST IF MADE IN SMALL BATCHES WITHIN ONE MONTH

  1. Use 1-3  grams (1 level teaspoon) of tea per 4 ounces of water.
  2. Bring water to 160° F for first infusion. 
  3. Pour over leaves; steep for 45 seconds.
  4. Second infusion, Water 180° F for 15 seconds.
Or

Use water at 200°F for 45 seconds.

Both ways can be reinfused at least 3 times
