Pink Kashmiri Chai

The tea had to be pink for a local theaters production of Unveiled. So in addition to the usual ginger, cloves, and cardamom, we added hibiscus. It gives a little zing and adds a little pink color to the brew.

Ingredients: Green tea, cinnamon chips, almonds, crushed green cardamom, cardamom seeds, hibiscus and flavor

Brewing Instructions
  1. Use 1 teaspoon of tea per 6 ounces of water.
  2. Bring water to 185° F.
  3. Pour over leaves; steep for 2 minutes.
  4. Remove leaves from tea.
  5. Enjoy!
  6. Reinfuse 2-3 times, increasing time by 50% each infusion.
