Aged Sencha



Made in the old traditional way, from bushes that were germinated from seed over 100 years ago from a small tea farm that the grandfather had, the father abandoned, and the grandson reclaimed. Extremely rare in Japan as in the year 2012, 98% of tea gardens were planted with cultivar bushes. The tea is aged for months in thick walls of mud and clay which gives it depth. Really good with lots of body. A special Japanese green tea.

Ingredients: Japan green tea

Brewing Instructions
  1. Use 1 teaspoon of tea per 6 ounces of water.
  2. Bring water to 185° F.
  3. Pour over leaves; steep for 2 minutes.
  4. Remove leaves from tea.
  5. Enjoy!
  6. Reinfuse 3-4 times, increasing time by 50% each infusion.
