Guzhang Mao Jian


NEW. This tea is one of the "30 famous teas of China", picked very early in the spring in Guzhang County in Hunan Province. The leaves are fine, taut strips of multicolored greens. The brew is jade-colored, bright, and lively. The aroma is delicate, slightly earthy and has a slightly chestnut element. A very special early green!
Brewing Instructions
  1. Use 1/2 teaspoon of tea per 6 ounces of water.
  2. Bring water to 185° F.
  3. Pour over leaves; steep for 2 minutes.
  4. Remove leaves from tea.
  5. Enjoy!
  6. Reinfuse 3-4 times, increasing time by 50% each infusion.
