Also known as Common Mullein, Great Mullein, and Velvet Dock. Mullein is a tall biennial plant that is traditionally used for its emollient and astringent properties. It was first recommended for use 2000 years ago by Dioscorides (an ancient Greek physician) for coughs and pulmonary problems.

Ingredients:  Cut and sifted mullein leaves

  1. Use 1-2 teaspoons of tea per 8 ounces of water.
  2. Bring water to a boil - 212° F.
  3. Pour over leaves; steep for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Remove leaves from tea.
  5. Enjoy!
