Sakura Ryokucha is a superb blend of Sencha, Kukicha, and Sakura leaf and flower. The blend of Sencha and Kukicha is well harmonized with Sakura’s natural flavor. The natural and friendly flavor of Sakura evolves in your mouth and nose while you enjoy the umami and freshness of Sencha and Kukicha.

Unlike normal preservation process of the Sakura flower, the flower in this tea is sugar so that it does not disturb the green tea flavor and gives a subtle sweetness (no sugar is added to the tea; only used to preserve the flower).

Sakura Ryokucha is a seasonal tea, usually available in early spring, and is in stock for only a month or two or while supplies last.

Ingredients: Japan green tea

Brewing Instructions
  1. Use 1 slight teaspoon of tea per 6 ounces of water.
  2. Bring water to 185° F.
  3. Pour over leaves; steep for 2 minutes.
  4. Remove leaves from tea.
  5. Enjoy!
  6. Reinfuse 2-3 times, increasing brewing time by 50% each infusion.
