Pu'erh Tuo Cha (Shou)

This lovely pu-erh tea is compressed into convenient 5 gram cakes, tuo cha, (also referred to as bowls or nests). Our tuo cha yields a very dark cup with earthy, mossy, and slightly sweet notes. A must try.

Each cake is suitable for one cup, and may be brewed multiple times without getting too astringent (bitter).  Use multiple nests for a pitcher. Place in a filter for easy removal. 

Ingredients: China black tea

Brewing Instructions

1. Use 1 tuo cha (mini cake) per 6 ounces of water.
2. Bring water to a boil.
3. Pour over leaves; steep for 3-5 minutes.
4. Remove cake from tea. Can be infused multiple times
