Yame Gyokuro Imperial Select


The best of the best! Gyokuro is considered the highest quality of tea in Japan. This one is a a blend of Saemidori, Saeakari, Kirari 31 and Yabukita varietials.  In Yame, the tea bushes are covered for 16 days with straw mats to keep the leaves from the sun before the leaves are hand-picked from the bushes. 

Ingredients: Japanese green tea

Brewing Instructions
  1. Use 2.5-3 teaspoons of tea per 6 ounces of water.
  2. Bring water to 120-140° F.
  3. Pour over leaves; steep for 2 minutes.
  4. Remove leaves from tea.
  5. Enjoy!
  6. Reinfuse at 140° F for 90 seconds.
