Good Darjeelings have been hard to get. We have cupped many this past year that we didn't buy. We normally buy higher grades than this one, but we liked this one. Dark leaves, with little tip, brew a beautiful amber cup of tea. The tea seems a little deeper than most Darjeelings we have offered. It is spicy with a hint of sweetness. Astringency is definitely there, but not overpowering. 

Ingredients: Darjeeling India black tea

Brewing Instructions
  1. Use 3/4 level teaspoon of tea per 6 ounces of water.
  2. Bring water to a boil.
  3. Pour over leaves; steep for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Remove leaves from tea.
  5. Enjoy!
